We’re off to a good start!

Lancaster Pediatric Associates was founded in 1970 by Dr. Charles Kurtz, Dr. Clark McSparren, and Dr. William Boben.  The original office was in Lancaster city at 310 N West End Avenue.  The three physicians founded the practice on a firm foundation of pediatric expertise and collaboration with parents:  These ideals continue to this day.  From the beginning Lancaster Pediatrics has been committed to the Lancaster community with its providers volunteering on many local boards, school PTOs, athletic organizations, and advisory panels.  In 1988 the practice opened an office in Willow Street to better serve the southern end of the county.  In 1995 the practice moved from West End to the Suburban Outpatient Pavilion to allow for improved access to care as well as to give the practice room to grow.    All Lancaster Pediatric providers serve on the medical staff of Lancaster General Hospital with privileges at Women and Babies Hospital.  Many of our physicians donate their time to committees and leadership positions within the Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health system.

For over 50 years Lancaster Pediatrics has been providing compassionate pediatric expertise to children and parents.  We are proud to be seeing many “grand patients” and even “great grand patients” each day, and look forward to continue of our legacy of helping the Lancaster community raise healthy, happy children.
